She was born on the street, "under Paris skys", she climbed from a dunghill and conquered the world.
Reality did not bestow on her "a life in pink" yet Edith Piaf, a legend in her life, "does not regret anything", a life story that is completely an "anthem for love".

The play is accompanied by Piaf`s wonderful songs, performed live on stage with a band accompaniment.

"Yonit Tobi is born to this role. A genuine diamond…. She opens her mouth, and with a crystal clear voice, bestows magic on the hall"

Michael Handelzaltz - Haaretz

"Queen of the Stage"

"The director Eli Bijaoui created a stylized and polished direction, which sophistically combines different chapters in the heroine`s life with the known and loved songs… Yonit Tobi with a powerful and beautiful voice succeeds in entering the big shoes of the role and to turn it into her own – a royal performance of an impressive actress"
Shay Bar Yaacov – Yedioth  Achronot

"Yonit Piaf"

"Yonit Tobi reveals as an amazing talent presenting a huge voice alongside a precise sensitivity. Her stage presence holds a strong projection of total identification, body and soul, with the tragic character of Piaf"
Elyakim Yaron - Maariv

"A show that must go on"

Bijaoui has turned to play into a well flowing mini-musical … Yonit Tobi  conquers in her amazing singing and her moving acting… one of the exciting experiences I have received from a young actress in the beginning of her career"
 - HaBama

"A chanteuse is born"

"The new and great production of Beer Sheva Theater is a serious work, unpretending and dignified due to a director and adaptor who was not afraid to edit and succeeds to take the best out of it – but most of all, due to an actress who is small in size yet huge in talent, who is made of the material stars are made of… Yonit Tobi grows into the size of the myth of the best singer France has known, and from the second she opens her mouth to sing, you cannot help but fall in love with her. She leaves the audience open-mouthed"
Merav Yudilevitz – Ynet

"Repertory Theater at its finest."

"Not a dry eye in the house, stunning impression"
"Like a little dove, Tobi brings a fragile magnetism to the part."
"Every filament in this drama has been artistically thought out, and communicates a deeply moving effect…Brilliant achievement of director Eli Bijaoui, who deserves a big bravo".
