10th Jubilee Jewish Summer Festival

Budapest Gallery

  • Budapest Gallery

The non-profit gallery of the Budapest Gallery and the Self-government of the capital. The aim of its exhibitions is to show contemporary Hungarian and foreign art, as well as introducing contemporary Hungarian art abroad. Our exhibitions include architecture, photo art and applied arts.

We can say that it is only our gallery where the above-mentioned genders are regularly shown. Of course, the most important consideration is to show individual objects made with unique concepts.

We show artworks of artists who applied for individual and collective exhibitions, as well as the artworks we borrow from abroad through our relations. The thematic usually concerns a professional problem organized by our curators.

One of the bases of exchanges is due to the artist exchange program we signed with several European towns. We support young artists organizing their first or first large-scale exhibitions.

We endeavour to organize exhibitions of artists who were unworthily forgotten in the last decades or could not show their works at all. Some genders not represented at exhibitions so far are also shown.
